Thomas Dammrich

Thomas Dammrich, DBA, MBA, MSA, CPA, CPHQ, has experience spanning several manufacturing and service industries, including healthcare, where quality is central to performance excellence, customer experience and profitability.

He served as CEO of two manufacturing associations for 30 years and recently worked as a Business Strategist with the National Association for Healthcare Quality for three years focused on creating a systematic way to assess the current work of a quality workforce, identify gaps in quality competencies and skills, and prioritize upskilling based on organizational quality goals and priorities.

Through his work with NAHQ and his brother’s near fatal experience with healthcare he is passionate about improving quality and patient safety in healthcare for all.  Dammrich and his wife Carol (an RN) have four children, including a son who is an MD in Oncology/Hematology and a daughter who is a Nurse Practitioner in Oncology, and twelve grandchildren.
