PFPS US Co-Founder Martin Hatlie Receives
Lifetime Achievement Award
On December 9, the
Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP)
honored PFPS US co-founder
Martin Hatlie
with the
Michael R. Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award
for his three decades of leadership in patient and medication safety. ISMP President
Rita Jew
presented the award at the 28th Annual ISMP Cheers Awards in Las Vegas.
ISMP—founded in 1994 by Michael Cohen, now President Emeritus, is a global leader in medication safety. The organization has long championed meaningful engagement of patients and families in safety improvement and maintains a public medication and vaccine error reporting system accessible to both consumers and healthcare professionals. ISMP is a proud Strategic Partner of PFPS US.
