Sarah Ann Marshall

Sarah Ann Marshall is a nurse leader and nationally certified patient safety and risk management professional with extensive experience advancing system‑level safety and reliability across complex healthcare organizations. She brings a strong nursing perspective to enterprise risk management, grounded in frontline clinical experience and informed by safety science, human factors, and high‑reliability principles.


Currently, Sarah serves as Associate Director of Clinical Risk Management, where she oversees patient safety and clinical risk operations. In this role, she leads regional efforts to standardize safety practices, reduce preventable harm, and strengthen organizational learning through event analysis and system redesign.


She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Leadership and Management of Health Care Systems and is certified as a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM), and Certified Professional in Human Factors in Health Care (CPHFH). Sarah is a licensed registered nurse in Michigan and Illinois.
