Meaghan K. Meeker, MSN, ACNP, CPPS
Meaghan Meeker has over 12 years of clinical nursing experience in the fields of Trauma, Critical Care, Post Anesthesia Care and Adult Abdominal Organ Transplantation. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare systems and federal government projects, Meaghan is a dynamic and results-driven leader with a proven track record of advancing clinical operations and patient safety both in commercial and federal health spaces. Passionate about delivering innovative, data-driven solutions, Meaghan excels at leading cross-functional teams, managing complex programs, and applying human-centered design to achieve sustainable improvements in healthcare delivery. She is committed to engaging patients in their own care and making the health care system safer and more effective for patients and providers.
Throughout her career as a nurse, and as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, her patient- centered passion drove her to serve as a conduit and liaison between patients, their families, providers, and the healthcare system. Meaghan brought this expertise and passion with her to federal consulting where she has overseen the development of a high reliability organization (HRO) assessment for the Defense Heath Agency (DHA), DHA Clinical Quality Management Strategy and multiple process improvement projects with the DHA and contributed to multiple policies aimed at improving patient outcomes and experience.
In collaboration with academic and federal partners, Meaghan has published articles on student training with simulation as well as on measuring the maturity of HROs.
Meaghan holds a Bachelor of Nursing from University at Buffalo and a Masters in Nursing from Georgetown University. She practiced as a nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the Baltimore and greater Washington DC area.
