Marcia Boynton

Marcia Boynton spent 25 years in academic medicine in the United States, where she was responsible for risk management and patient advocacy, as well as payer member service.


She has since directed an undergraduate Institute for Health Studies, which incorporated a global health component, to expand student understanding of health care, patient safety, and ethics of care around the world. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she now maintains a private practice as a Board Certified Patient Advocate and as a Certified Educational Planner, assisting rising health professionals in their preparation for and application to graduate/professional training.


Ms. Boynton is a member emerita of the State Bar of Michigan and a qualified civil court mediator.
