Indira Shenoy, MBA, CPPS

Indira Shenoy, MBA, CPPS is the Senior Manager for Quality & Equity in Patient Experience & Equity team in the Department of Quality & Patient Safety at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI).




Indira leads the efforts to champion DFCI's equity improvement efforts in concert with clinical, administrative, and operational staff and leaders. A key part of her role is to ensure that evolving regulatory requirements for health equity are achieved and ensure adherence to The Joint Commission, state of Massachusetts, and other regulatory body requirements for health equity. Additionally, Indira leads the Disability Competent Care Committee at DFCI to develop educational programs and establish processes to systematically identify patients who have a disability and provide support and services in accordance with their accommodation needs.


Indira holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in health care administration from Suffolk University and is a certified professional in patient safety (CPPS). Indira coaches teams on clinical process improvement, more recently coaching MGB’s UAR CPIP teams. Additionally, Indira served on the Job Analysis committee to build the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Certified Professional in Health Equity certification course that is now available through the IHI.
