Carol Coven Grannick

Carol Coven Grannick is a poet, children's author, freelance writer and editor, and recently retired clinical social worker who spent years in multiple and varied health care settings in New York and Chicago.


She wrote, published, and spoke extensively about positive social work and MD/RN/MSW team interventions with patients and families. Now as a full-time writer, she has been published in numerous literary magazines for adults and children, and has a children's novel in verse, REENI'S TURN, that deals with positive body attitudes.


Her upcoming book for adults, CALL ME BOB: Speaking Up for Patient Safety, is a work of creative nonfiction in verse about a challenge to medical disinterest, disinformation, and carelessness when a loved one's life was in the balance.
