Barbara Palmer

Barbara serves as a Community Engagement Research Advocate as well as a Breast Cancer Advocate. She is a proud graduate of the inaugural class of the 2022 Patient Professors Academy through the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy.

The program inspired her to become involved in health disparities among people of color and provided her with the opportunity to participate in diverse research projects across several organizations. She has collaborated on projects with the University of Maryland, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Johns Hopkins University, and Ontada.
