I am a hospital pharmacist by profession currently practicing at CORSU Children’s hospital which focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of children with disabilities in Uganda.

I am currently a member of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance with training and experience in the field of medication safety spanning a duration of 5 years.

I picked an interest in patient safety during my hospital practice after I realized that adverse drug reactions were not being reported as often as they should leading to a gap in awareness of the presence of these adverse reactions to the medicine’s regulator and to the public.

Medication errors are majorly preventable and because of this, I know I can leverage my experience and training to make a difference in patient’s lives by preventing patients from suffering from the consequences of adverse drug reactions.
