Sherrie Fuller-Benge

Sherrie Fuller-Benge, BSN, RN, CPPS

Sherrie Fuller-Benge worked as a registered nurse with a clinical focus in Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics and Labor & Delivery.  After moving away from bedside care, she worked in medical informatics, leading initiatives related to medication safety and physician order entry.  She has also lead Quality and Patient Safety departments with a goal of moving the hospital to Zero Harm.

At two hospitals she led initiatives to bring the patient voice to the hospital board by having them share their stories of patient harm and the impacts it had on them or their family members.

She joined Health Catalyst in 2021 as the Clinical Implementation Specialist for Patient Safety Monitor.  Her work there includes helping to develop event reporting systems that streamline the process for busy caregivers to easily be able to submit safety concerns.  In addition to incident reporting, she is involved in helping hospitals create mortality review processes to examine their patient deaths for any delays in diagnosis, treatment or failure to rescue.

She is thankful to bring her clinical expertise to the development of technology with goals that we will provide tools that assist the caregivers to do the right thing at the right time.

Sherrie completed her BS in Nursing from University of Northern Colorado and has her Certification as a Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
