Daria Brooks Terrell

Daria Terrell, MD

Dr. Daria Brooks Terrell currently serves as the Medical Director of Clinical Programming and Health Outcomes at St. Bernard Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.


She earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Health and Society from Brown University. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, she completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at Washington Hospital Center.  She worked for several years as an orthopedic oncologist in Washington DC before returning to Chicago.


Dr. Terrell has been practicing general orthopedic surgery at St. Bernard Hospital since 2011, where she also serves as chairman of the Department of Surgery and the current President of the Medical Staff.


Her clinical areas of interest include osteoporosis, recognizing the effects of social determinants of health, improving patient safety, and ending healthcare disparities.
