Bruce Pfaff

Bruce has been a personal injury trial lawyer concentrating in medical negligence cases for 44 years. In this capacity, he has heard and investigated hundreds of stories from patients and families who have had poor results from their health care.

He has prosecuted many claims of nursing, doctor, and institutional malpractice to verdict or settlement. There are many repeating patterns of injury producing events which do not seem to have not been reduced by technology-- or anything else.

It is beyond frustrating. The system in which I have worked tries to compensate those hurt by medical negligence and to deter future similar conduct. Deterrence through the tort system is spotty at best.
